Hello Friend, and welcome to my blog! This space is the beginning of a great undertaking for me. The words that I share with you here are one more act of “dying-to-self” and walking out my God-given purpose.

My name, is Shellie Pullar, and I am a ridiculously deep thinker, worlds biggest cheerleader, accidental comedian…oh, and I’m a huge fan of Jesus!

I thrive on sunshine, the beaches of Mexico, and the summertime lakeshores of the pacific northwest where I have lived all of my life. I am too young yet to become a snow-bird, but it’s in my plans!

I am a mom to two kiddo’s born 19 years apart, and dog mom to a goofy Golden Retriever, and a very serious, no-nonsense, German Shepherd.

I am also a stage 3 cancer ass-kicker, sexual assault survivor, and have lost half of my maternal family to the ravages of mental illness. Grief and I have been constant companions for an unrelenting number of years and I have spent over half of my life healing from soul-deep sadness.

From the very depths of my heart I hope you sense that you belong here, that you aren’t here on my blog…or in this world on accident. God never makes mistakes.
